Default Banging head against wall - Major issue with quotas, email and webmail.

We've been struggling with this forever.
Have a server that runs like a dream, until, it stops.

    - Unable to list quotas in WHM.
    - Unable to list email queue in WHM
    - SPAMD shows failed
    - Neomail and Squirelmail refuse to load, or generate IMAP errors.
    - Email just backs up in the queue and never delivers.

We are running the latest Release version of CP.

    - Have tired downgrading to Stable, no help.
    - Have tried upgrading to current and edge, no luck.
    - Have tried reinstalling, uninstalling, ripping out by the roots, etc of SA and Exim, no luck.
    - Have recompiled, reinstalled and waved the dead chicken, no luck.
    - Have tried restarting things, doesn't help.

Only fixes have been to force a cpanel upgrade, however that no longer seems to unstick things, and reboot.

I fail to see twice daily reboots of a production server to be a "solution".

Any ideas? I'm beyond stumped here.

    Thumbs up Hi

    Hello

The best solution i can give u is first for webmail u disable Neomail and Squirelmail
which takes major load on the server.

Secondly u go in tweak settings n disable the service u dont wnt.

n make proper adjustment according to ur requirement.

    Regards
    Carlos

I'd suggest logging a ticket with cPanel through your cPanel license provider.

Failing that, there are a few server admins with good reputations that advertise in the Ads & Offers forum that should be able to help

I believe there is at least 1 ticket open with Cpanel on this, but I don't have the #. I'll check out the admins. We're using 1 company now, but another opinion can't hurt.

Right now, we think it may be a ram issue, so are having the hardware checked out. If that doesn't work, I'll be getting in touch with folks. Thank you!
