banning ip, getting error

when i tried to ban an ip from cpanel, i get;

Error: while opening /usr/local/apache/htdocs/.htaccess

any advice?

Offhand, it sounds like a file permissions/ownership issue. However, I recommend permitting our technical analysts to take a look at this for you: http://tickets.cPanel.net/submit

ok, i submitted a ticket, but, now it's gone?

my old ticket from december is still there, but the one on this issue is gone now?

maybe this would help you advise me;
I have a few domains on cpanel on that server, and all work but the topgunmike.com one, which is also the one withe registered NS, and the main Reseller.

It seems to be just the one domain that won't work.

any suggestions?

Getting same error here also.

IP Deny Manager
There was problem denying the IP address. Show Details

But when I look at the list of banned IP's, they show up on the list.

So not sure if this is a false error or not.
