    Default Bayes & Spamassassin

    Hello,

I am a user of a web hosting compay.

I would like to use the Bayessian filter in spamassasin to filter all the SPAM that I get.

Accordingly to spamassassin, inside of my user directory I should see several bayes* files that will contain the filtering rules of the bayes system.

However, I do not see them there.

The Bayes filter is also setup in autolearning mode and it has not created any database at all.

My web hosting company has no clue on this.

Has anyone enabled Bayes filtering in Spamassasin with CPanel? I will appreciate all your help.

    Thanks
    Diego

What version of spamassassin did your host install?
And where are you checking for the database, exactly?

    Default

Version 2.51, and I was looking at ~/.spammassasin

However, the bayes* files have started to appear. It seems to be auto-learning really slow.
