Hello, I have been reading past threads about this but cannot seem to find a definite answer....

I need to install Atlassian Confluence onto our cPanel server, the requirements are as follows....

Important notes about installing a JDK for Confluence

* Confluence requires the full installation of a JDK. It is not enough to run Confluence on a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) alone.
* While JDK 1.5 is fine, JDK 6 (1.6) is the preferred platform as it is faster and more reliable

My question is what is the best way to install the JDK? via EasyApache? or via RPM? or another alternative?
