    Question Bind and mySQL

    Hi,

Just wondering if it is possible to install a version of bind onto the server that uses mySQL. I've found a few out but forgotten the links to them.

Would this work with cPanel or not? I believe they use the standard named.conf file and if you want it off mySQL you can or you can have it the normal text file style.

The reason i ask is that i want to be able to edit a few zone files easily without messing up the zone file or named.conf

    Thanks, Steven.

Just incase anyone is interested i've managed to get a version of bind working with mySQL. Checked it with DIG and its able to show the information i've defined in the mySQL table.

If anyone is interested is at http://gw.netbastards.org/bm/

    Thanks, Steven.
