    Default Bluelagoon's Future

I see that the X skin is now the cpanel default. My question is will the bluelagoon cpanel skin continue to be updated with new features or will it be phased out?

I have looked through several posts but I was unable to locate an answer.

I hope not. I like bluelagoon since everything is nicely organized. Xskin is nice but a bit sloppy with the icons. Perhaps they can arrange it similar to bluelagoon.

Our customers love Blue Lagoon, and our vote is to keep it around...besides, I now have all these Flash Tutorials based on Blue Lagoon

I like the look of the X skin, however I think you should take a page out of Blue Lagoon's book and organise icons into some sort of categories, ATM it is a major turn off to have to sift through all those icons to find the one you want.

I am sure someone could fix it up. Here is a quick attempt from me (could not add the webmail icon as it trys to log in when up loaded?)

Indeed, might be worth doing. How does urchin and fantastico integrate with X skin and are there any downsides compared with xcontroller (I like the idea of having everything on one page).

Not bad. That looks a lot better than having random empty spaces where users know they're missing some functions.

If x looked like that and supported urchin subdomain stats, i would changed. To me, the organized grouping of links in bluelagoon is far more important than how pretty x is.

Can you point me to a skin that has Urchin subdomain stats so that I can see how it is done?

Don't worry, I borrowed the Urchin subdomain code from BlueLagoon and it works like a treat!

The question is, will bluelagoon continue to be supported 2 or 3 months down the road?
