boxtrapper - empty queue emails

a user has observed a strange issue with boxtrapper...

Sometimes, empty emails show up. Digging through the exim log revealed this:

does anybody know what the problem is, or how to fix it?

It looks like a problem with boxtrapper. Try resetting the lock and see if there is a new error.
