I have a CPanel user that has anonymous ftp account enabled for ReadOnly, however, we can not seem to find a suitable workaround to allow Browser FTP Access.

For example, the anonymous@domain.com is used for the FTP username, but in the Browser FTP, you can not use the @ sign in a username - as it is used to deliminate the host from the username / password. We tried substituting the + sign instead, but this results in an incorrect user / pass error.

Any suggestions?

Is it possible to alias a username that does not need an @ sign for this specific account?
