    Default BSD-Resource version error

    After a new cPanel install on a CentOS 4.4 server I am having the following problems

    1. When I access WHM and enter the root login details into the login popup prompt, I get a "Cannot find server" - "The page cannot be displayed" error in the browser.

    cPanel restarts in SSH without any errors

    I ran "/usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkperlmodules" and no errors were displayed.

    When I do a "tail -f /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log" while accessing WHM I see the following:

    BSD::Resource object version 1.28 does not match $BSD::Resource::VERSION 1.25.
    BSD::Resource object version 1.28 does not match $BSD::Resource::VERSION 1.25.
    BSD::Resource object version 1.28 does not match $BSD::Resource::VERSION 1.25.
    BSD::Resource object version 1.28 does not match $BSD::Resource::VERSION 1.25.

    Are you able to login to WHM?
    Did you just install cPanel on the server?

    I just got it working by changing to "stable" and updating.

    nano -w /etc/cpupdate.conf

    Change to "CPANEL=stable"

    Then ran (without --force):

    /scripts/upcp

    Seems to be a problem with the "Release" version.

    Check your updatelogs in /var/cpanel/updatelogs

    This should be able to explain why the new Resource.so could not be downloaded.

    Anyways

    /scripts/upcp --force

    will fix this by forcing it to refetch the files.
