Lightbulb Bug with MySQL Root Password Change

    Hello,

I recently changed my root MySQL password with WHM. The only one contained characters I heard do not play well with PHPMyAdmin. Now in WHM, and Cpanel Accounts it shows that MySQL has failed -although the server is running correctly. I cannot view any of the tables/users in cpanel either.

I called my host about this and they said this is a known issue. They also said there was a way to fix it -although it was involved. I have searched for a fix for this issue but I cannot find it.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

...I am going through a host... it said I should contact them with issues.

"If you are the customer of a web host who uses cPanel or obtained a cPanel license from a company other than cPanel, Inc., you will need to contact your web host or license provider for support."

    Is that correct?

For this particular issue, I believe it would be best to submit it directly to us.

However, typically that is the preferred procedure for more mundane situations.
