No one is able to recieve emails
I have checks
tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog
and got this

what to do ?

1. edit /etc/clamd.conf (or /etc/clamav.conf)
2. scroll down to "LocalSocket" and see the value - make a note (e.g. /var/clamd).
3. ^X Exit
4. In WHM click on "Exim Configuration Editor"
5. Click on "Swith to advanced mode"
6. At the top of the config file change your "av_scanner = clamd:" and the value of LocalSocket (Above) (e.g. av_scanner = clamd:/var/clamd)
7. Go to bottom of file and click "Save"

Your exim should be fine now.

same problem with mailscanner. i had to disable it to have mail working again..


any solutions?

no weird messages in exim log, just this:

routing defer (-51): retry time not reached

Are you using MailScanner with the clamavconnector? If so, then you can't - they clash.

nop. i am not using clamav,only mailscanner, but i have the same issue.

Oh. Then why are you posting to a thread about problems with clamd? Whose method did you use to install MailScanner with?
