Default Can I allow SFTP without Shell?

Is there a way to allow customers to upload files via SFTP (instead of FTP) without having to enable shell access?

    Thanks.

Yes. In the FTP configuration settings page you'll find the details.

cPanel > FTP Accounts > bottom of page last icon to right of account(s) click the Configure FTP Client.

Personallly I'm not thrilled about this. This is my SSH port. But, there you go.

I suppose that if it concerns you enough you can change the SSH port.
