Default Can I point a parked domain to a folder on the main domain?

Is this possible. I tried with a redirect, but I get an error. I suppose it creates a loop.

If you are redirecting a second domain to a folder within the main domain (not to the same website), you should use an addon domain instead of a parked domain.

I know. But the problem is that the user will never be able to manage 2 ftp logins, to upload her files. One login is hard enough for them.

Does the main ftp account have permission to upload to the "add on" domain?

Yes. A second FTP login will not need to be used if they have access to the cPanel account itself.

But cpanel forces you to enter a second login. I'm a little confused. Does the main ftp account have rights to manipulate files on the "sub" ftp account?

Yes, the main FTP account has the rights to manipulate all files on the account, including those of addon and parked domains.
