Can you use cookie authentication without having to turn off http authentication?

Hi,
with WHM can you leave the standard http authentication on and still use cookie authentication another way - such as using another url? This is a very significant requirement I have right now and if anyone can tell me how to do this I would be very grateful. So is there a way to access WHM using cookie authentication without having to stop http authentication?
