Default Cannot remove bad name user-defined MIME type from cpanel

    Hi,

    I 'm using Cpanel 11.24.4-RELEASE abd created a user-defined MIME type called

    "text/html"

    with the extension .gz.

Now my server is returning a 500 error and not letting me serve any html documents. When you click on remove cpanel reports that the MIME type has been succesfully removed but the MIME type is still listed.

I can add and remove normal user-defined MIME types fine; is this an issue with cpanel? If it is, then is there a way to manually remove this MIME type?

    Thanks,

    wessam

I've not heard of this issue before, so feel welcome to let our technical analysts look into it.

Custom MIME types generated via the cPanel interface are stored in ~/public_html/.htaccess
