    Default Cannot suspend accounts

I am trying to suspend an account on my server, its a VPS server and I get this error

Changing Shell to /bin/false...Changing shell for ******.
Warning: "/bin/false" is not listed in /etc/shells
    Shell changed.
    Done
Locking Password...Locking password for user ******.
    passwd: Success
    Done
    Suspending mysql users
    Notification =>********@*****.com via EMAIL [level => 3]
    sendmail: Cannot lookup callers gid
    sendmail: Cannot lookup callers gid

The account is still active. How can I fix this so that when I suspend it suspends.

    Thank you

    Hello,

Typically, ownership issues might cause the error "sendmail: Cannot lookup callers gid" that you are seeing. Please try running a forced cPanel update first:

    Code:
    /scripts/upcp --force
It should correct some of the ownership issues. After that, if the account still does not suspend, please tail the cPanel error log to see if any additional errors are logged to it:

    Code:
    tail -fn0 /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
    Thanks!

Hi I did do a cpanel update via my whm before contacting you and again just now via my SSH and still got the same error when I tried to suspend.

So I ran the next line of code and got this error

    [2012-02-07 07:58:07 -0600] warn [unsuspendmysqlusers] **** has no databases. at /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/u
    nsuspendmysqlusers line 29

How do I fix this and make sure that ALL my accounts have this so that if need be I can suspend and unsuspend them without problems?

    Thanks!

If the account doesn't have MySQL users, then it cannot suspend or unsuspend the MySQL users, so I'm uncertain how that would be an issue.

If you cannot suspend the account still, then please open up a ticket using WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or using the link in my signature.
