Default can't access webpage with http://xxx.com/cpanel

    Hello all,
I am using RH 7.3 OS on server with cpanel 9.2 and apache 1.3.31.My clients are complaining that they can't access their websites's cpanel with url:
    http://xxx.com/cpanel
Instead they have to try http://xxx.com:2082 with port number.
Is this a cpanel bug or else?May i have to change the configuration in apache file or else?
    PLease help
    THank you

cPanel runs on non-standard ports which many corporate firewalls and proxies don't allow access to.

I've got a new FAQ entry which answers your question:

FAQ: Can I change the ports cPanel & WHM uses?

the redirects are now located in the cgi-sys dir, so if you are like some of us, and block that dir, it could be the reason it has disabled the redirects
