    Default Can't change password

I recently discovered that it's impossible for ordinary cPanel users to change their password on one of our servers. It's running the latest cPanel version 9.4.1-S65.

When I try to change a password through a normal cPanel account it says "The password has been changed!" but nothing is really changed. This goes for all accounts on the server and the problem only occurs when trying to alter a password through cPanel. When I change it through WHM everything works fine.

    Any suggestions?

Try running /scripts/updatenow followed by /scripts/upcp --force. if that doesn't work then submit a support ticket.
