    Default Can't Get Into cPanel

I am trying to get into the cPanel control panel the morning for my individual sites but have been unable to. It worked fine last night, so it may be an updates problem. I have updates set at automatic release tree. I have 4 boxes with cPanel on them, and this box is the only one with Red Hat 9.0. The others use Red Hat 7.3 and have the same update preferences but are working fine.

    Any ideas?

ETA: When I try to login, the page timesout. I am never given the oppertunity to enter my username/passord.

    /etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel stop
    wait 10 seconds
    /etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel start

Also, automatic updates is never a good idea -- for the very reason you found out this morning.

On your RH 9 box you should shell in and run 'top'. I've noticed updates (on a RH 9) will now always have 'cppop' using like 90+% of CPU after an update -- manual updates anyway. So restart cppop through WHM or shell.

    We are having the same issue on;

    WHM 8.5.4 cPanel 8.5.5-R20
    RedHat 7.3 - WHM X v2.1.1

As soon as we log into the control panel we get a blank white screen. Every site is like this. What is going on with this?

The above commands do not fix the issue. I dont know how many times we ran it already.

/scripts/updatenow; /scripts/upcp; service cpanel stop; service cpanel start

Copy & paste as one line, press Enter, cross fingers and watch.

It has been found, the above commands run together as shown, will fix a variety of problems. Might work in this situation as well???

Same problem here, Cpanel logins are timing out, WHM is fine.

Already tried those commands run together dozens of times.

Ok, last suggestion is to use: /scripts/fixquotas

Worked for me with blank Cpanel pages, although, I have no idea why.

Other than that, all I can suggest furtherr is to submit a Ticket to DarkOrb.
