Default Can't kill process eating 98%. What is it doing?

Does anyone here know what this process is doing? It uses about 98% of the cpu resources:

    modprobe-rip_conntrack_irc

I tried killing it several times through WHM but it can't be killed. What can I do to stop it. Server load is high due to this process.

    Thanks
    John

I'm not sure what it is, but if the server load is too high, a reboot will break that connection.
