Default Can't list (show) full archive contents in cPanel 11 File Manager

With cPanel 10 I can list full contents of a .tar.gz archive by selecting it in the File Manager and then clicking Show File Contents.

But in cPanel 11, this same option (in the legacy FM v2) and also the "View" option in the new v3 FM only show the top level contents of the archive. It looks as if tar is being run with the --no-recursion option.

Is it possible to get the full listing of archive contents back, as in cPanel 10?

Using cPanel version 11.11.0-RELEASE Build 16983

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
I'd recommend submitting that as a bug to http://bugzilla.cpanel.net

    OK thanks, done http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=5941

Actually I don't thing --no-recursion is the culprit here - it's just that only the first line of the listing is being returned to the browser.

I wonder what impact this would have on the system if any, if a user has a full account backup of several GB and used the show files option?
