Default Can't make server primary DNS after being synced to other DNS

I am unable to make my server a primary DNS server. I originally had it synced to another primary DNS server, but now I am no longer synced to the other DNS server and have turned the server into the primary DNS server.

Even though I remove the trust relationship, it still tells me:
    Code:
    rndc: connect failed: connection refused
I can't add any domains to the DNS and I've used /scripts/fixdns without any change.

My named.conf file has the IP address of my old primary nameserver for each entry, I tried removing them but that did work either.

Can someone help as I can't find any threads on this issue?

Can anyone help me out with this?

I've submitted a trouble-ticket to cpanel and they basically told me to remove the entries with the IP address of my old name server from named.conf. EVEN THOUGH I TOLD THEM I ALREADY DID THIS.

Sent several replies to them and got the same response.

    Anyone else can help me?
