Remove it from /etc/ips - if it's not in there, you probably have to remove the configuration file for it in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-XXXX where XXXX is the device it is bound to, then down the device using:
ifconfig XXXX down

Hello,
I have a similar, but slightly different problem. When I go into WHM's "Show or Delete Current IP Addresses", all of my IP addresses show up green and there is not option to delete any of them.
I understand that I probably shouldn't be able to delete IP addresses that are in use, but the "Show IP Address Usage" shows three that are not in use. Should I not be able to delete those three in the Delete page?
Thanks,
Jon
As I mentioned in my update - you'll only be able to do that if the IP is listed in /etc/ips. If it's not then it's been configured manually within Linux and you need to remove the ifcfg config file and then down the associated device. If it is listed in /etc/ips then you ought to be able to remove it if it's not being used and not reserved.
