    Default Can't Save Any Changes

    Hi,

I've just upgraded from 8.x to 9.9.9. I'm unable to do certain basic tasks from within the control panel for my main site. For example: when I try to add a cron job, it appears to submit successfully, but the new job doesn't show up in the cron list. When I try to add an email account, I don't get any error, but it doesn't show up in the account list. I can however add a forwarding entry and see it saved.

Strangely I can modify everything on one of my other domains hosted on this sytem without a problem.

Any info on debugging this would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

You might be right on that for mine... however I'm also having a quota problem. I've tried running fixquotas & fixeverything, however it hasn't fixed them. If I try to change the quota, nothing happens (and the process just sits there using resources in top). Any suggestions to get the quotas working?

Fix quota's will take a while, thast normal. If your having problems with it using to much memory, or editquota, try the fix i recommended here: http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=33736

Either way you are recommended to upgrade using the above posted method ASAP.

    Default Problem Solved

I solved my original problem. Somehow the permissions got messed up on the user's home directory, and he couldn't write to his home. Thanks for the error_log tip. The error showed up in there as: "/home/theuser/.crontab: No such file or directory".

    Thanks all.
