    Question Can't save backup settings

    Hello!

    Every time i try to save the backup settings i got a message that say: [an error occurred while processing this directive]

    When i click on it

    Failed to write: Bad file descriptor at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/FileUtils/Write.pm line 63.
    Cpanel::FileUtils::Write::writefile('/etc/cpbackup.public.conf', 'SCALAR(0x1f6bc20)', 420, undef) called at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Config/FlushConfig.pm line 45
    Cpanel::Config::FlushConfig::flushConfig('/etc/cpbackup.public.conf', 'HASH(0x20201d0)', ' ') called at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Config/Backup.pm line 194

    main::savebackup() called at whostmgr/bin/whostmgr line 917
    I have the latest release on this server.

    Any clue about this problem?

    Those errors imply harddisk failure.

    1. run a smartctl test on your Live system - ie. "smartctl -q errorsonly -H -l selftest -l error /dev/sda"
    2. run a FSCK

    I found the problem, the inodes for / partition are full. Some folder inside /root/.cpanel/Comet has more than 640k files.
