    Default Can't Send/Recieve email !

    Hi all,

    before one week we can't open our email from Outlook, Now our email can't send or recieve any email from the web site also.

    When i try to send any email to my web reply failure delivery :

    Unable to deliver message to the following address(es).

    Sorry, I wasn't able to establish an SMTP connection. (#4.4.1)
    I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.


    So, What do you thinks ???!!!

    Can you open up /var/log/exim_mainlog and tell us what errrors are being displayed?

    Thanks for your reply .

    in /var/log/

    I can't see exim_mainlog file or directory !!!!

    May be it's deleted ?

    What i must be do now ?

    ls -la /var/log/ | grep exim

    Paste the results of that.

    Nothing appear, No results !!!!

    Use your ISP's SMTP server for outgoing mail to test it.

    Hi all,

    Thanks for your interest.

    Seems like we have deleted the files,

    we need to re-create them ...

    Try

    running "/scripts/exim4" via SSH.

    If that dosent work, type "touch /var/log/exim_mainlog"

    The problem is FIXED now
