Can't use pure-ftp

I have a few vps's all with cpanel but on the last ones that i have install i have got the problem that i can't start pure ftp, i have try switching, forcing install, tryed all the solucion for similar problems on this forum (eaven solutions from 2006).
I 'v check the log but looks normal

what i get is this:

Have you checked the logs to see if there is more information there?
