CAPTCHA Issue

I'm having an issue with captcha on my server.

I recently updated to Apache 2 and PHP5 only and I do have GD enabled in the apache setup. I see a lot of mention of Freetype on the forums, but I don't have that option in easy apache at all. And apache logs are not showing any errorsfor this.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Freetype is now known as TTF. Check the box for TTF in exhaustive options to enable TTF support.

we got also a problem with freetype and TTF.

This is the info.php from a server, where functions like imagettftext() are working properly.

cPanel build 11.23.3 :

At a new server from another provider with cPanel build 11.18.3 freetype is not mentioned in the info.php only '--with-ttf' '
The provider says all the functions like imagettftext(=) should work, because freetype is now called TTF - but unfortunately they do not work.

We get always: Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagettftext()

Are we doing something wrong or is '--with-freetype-dir=/usr' ' still a mandatory configuration?

enable the TTF, and trust me your problem will be solved. i had faced a similar problem, and i went around to many people, but a junior of my class adviced me and it was fine
