Exclamation [Case 48889] Bug report: Space for Removed MySQL databases remains visible in cPanel

    Hello,

I've noticed that the "disk usage" shown in cPanel for an account is not correct when a MySQL database was removed earlier. It keeps showing the space used by the old MySQL database after more than 24hrs.
In WHM the "disk usage" is shown correctly though for that specific account.

    Using :

    WHM 11.28.87
    CENTOS 5.5 x86_64 standard

Tried to resolve it by running :

    /scripts/update_db_cache

    but it did not work.

I'd to terminate and then recreate the account on the server to resolve it.

cPanel techs may take a look into this.

    Regards.

You should think someone w/i cPanel would have commented after nearly a month as this is a pretty annoying bug...
If you've not done so I'd advise you to create a ticket with cPanel.

We have an internal bug report (48889) about this issue at this time for MySQL database disk usage not being calculated on database space changes for the cPanel > Files > Disk space usage area.

Please note that any time a bug is suspected, you are welcome to open up a bug report to http://go.cpanel.net/bugs or using the link at the top of the forum. If the bug has already been reported, we will provide details on the existing internal bug report in the ticket, so it is fine to submit a ticket even if the bug ends up already being known.

How can your customers search/browse through internal bug reports?
This used to be possible within http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/ (old bug db)

We do not currently have a system to view the internal bug reports, but the case numbers are used in the changelog at Change Logs location upon being pushed into a set version.
