Default Catastrophic problem after switching to suPHP

    Hello

After switching to suPHP many sites do not work correctly.

Many files are 99:99 (nobody owns)

All research I have done here in the forum to change ownership of files and folders are countered from administrators CPANEL stating that it is not safe.

How can I solve this problem in mass?

    Thank you
    Konrath

I see no problem with this command if my server is not
compromised, if there symlinks for internal files of
    server. Iam wrong?

    for i in `ls /var/cpanel/users/`; do chown -R $i:$i /home/$i/public_html ; done

    Thank you

Yes, But I need to change the owners of files and folders.

cpanelkenneth reports in this post ( Switching to suPHP and anothers ) that it is unsafe to change owner on recursive.

I see no problems if my server is not compromised and if no there symlinks to internal files of server

I'm scared to run the command and I am getting tons of complaints about the problem of ownership of files and folders.

I'll run. Patience. I understand that only if there are symlinks can be problems.

I need to resolve this problem.

    Thank you

The danger isn't from symlinks, but from hard links. And it doesn't matter if your server is compromised; you simply need one malicious user.

You should review what needs changed before making the change.
