    Hello,

Is there any limit on sending mails with CC & BCC in horde, neomail or squirrelmail ? if there is a restriction, what is the limit ?

I believe that you set the limits in whm - and that is for server wide options. I dont think there is a limit for individual domains or users . .

ok. I understand it's server wide, but where in WHM this option can be set ? say for example limit to: 100.

That setting is located at Tweak Settings and look for The maximum each domain can send out per hour (0 is unlimited):

So 1 email message with 99 people in the BCC field would count as 100 messages? I was under the impression that it would only count one against your total limit .... but I haven't really had a practical way of testing this out.

Has anyone tested to verify the actual behavior of this limit?

    Thanks,

No, I've done testing on this - it counts as 100 messages, not 1.

Default mailman affected by global SMTP limit?

    From this thread:
    http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread....=mailman+limit

It sounds like mailman is excluded from the limit set in WHM for max emails that a domain can send per hour.

However, a site that we host began complaining that mailling list subscribers have not been receiving their emails. The messages do show up in the archive though.

They're not large lists, but the domain in question does have about 10 lists. I do see errors in the exim_mainlog stating "You have exceeded the max emails per hour, your message has been discarded." I also see some messages from the <listname>-bounce@domain.com ... and I wonder if too many bounces are being generated and counting against the global smtp limit.

Does anyone know for sure if messages generated from mailman count [number of members] against the global limit? So 1 message to a list with 50 subscribers would count as 50 messages?

    Thanks in advance.
