    Default CentOS 5 x64 with cPanel 11?

    Hi,

I've had conflicting opinions on this.

    cPanel officially support it.
Server management people think it's fine.
Server company says it may be risky and they don't support it.
Other people in general think it's fine...

    Anymore opinions here?

    Thanks!

Centos 5 64 bit is now fully supported if you are using Cpanel 11.

I have a number of servers with this release and no problems whatsoever
and have all actually been running pretty smoothly since activation ...

I suspect we'll eventually run into the typical occasional missing libraries
issues that are found sometimes using 64 bit as we have found with v4.5
but all those are easily quick fixable with yum or simple symlinks.
