change account setup date

Hi,

I have imported and/or migrated existing client into new server running WHM. Current setup shows them added on May 1st. I would like to know how to change or modify the current setup date in WHM so my clients will be on their old renewal periods, If it can be changed. Has anyone run across this yet?

You can manually edit their /var/cpanel/users file

Be sure to run

/scripts/updateuserdomains after you do this to rebuild all of cpanels caches that use this file.

if you have transferred accounts to and from different partition names ( eg /home2 to /home3) then you might want to read http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=80145
