    Same problem here WHM 9.7.2.

I just moved all of my clients from one reseller account to another and now I can only access them through the root login.

Apparently, WHM didn't update some data somewhere.
If I cat /var/cpanel/users/* the accounts show the correct reseller.
If I cat /var/cpanel/*.accts the data is wrong.

If I try to vi the *.accts files to fix, they seem to be being over ritten with the old data when I go list accounts through WHM.

Does anyone know how to finish a "move" manually?

    Thanks,
    Howard

after much skrewing around, the following seems to have fixed the problem.

    /scripts/updateuserdomains

    Run from ssh as root.
