You might try clearing your browser cache to see if that helps.

    Hi,

Can i just ask if you are using the Firefox Browser and if you by chance have the "No-Script" extension installed. Because if you do, there is a chance that many sites would not work properly as expected including your CPanel. If not could it be that your webhost is preventing you from changing the password?

    Rgrds,

    Hello,

The fix of this issue is very simple, just run following command on server :

    chmod +s /usr/bin/passwd

and it will fix the issue for sure.

    Hi there.
Same problem, but permissions on passwd are valid:
    -r-sr-xr-x 2 root wheel 5912 Feb 25 01:29 /usr/bin/passwd
and perl module IO::Tty is installed.
