Default Change SFTP port on cPanel interface/configuration

I've changed my SSH port. When users go to FTP accounts, then "configure ftp client", they have option to download the SFTP configuration, or see the connection details below it.

Problem is the template/configuration file is set as port 22, when I've actually changed the port, and users are getting blocked by the firewall because of this.

Any tip is appreciated, couldn't find this elsewhere!

The port should match what is in the configuration file. Please open a ticket with ATTN: Nick in the subject line so I can see why it cannot retrieve the port number from your ssh configuration file.

It's great that clients are now able to use SFTP due to the new improvements to cPanel, but I'm not thrilled about sharing my SSH port # with anyone.

    I beg to differ.

    cPanel 11.24.0-C30365 - WHM 11.24.0 - X 3.9
    CENTOS 4.7 i686 on standard

SFTP Server Port: 22 << still showing default Port which is incorrect as it has been changed

Edit: just now read the Change Log and see:

    Current 30789
    2008-11-06 15:32:54

    Enhancements
Include SFTP port in X3 FTP Client Configuration interface

So Yes, it was fixed in 11.24.0
And No, not previous to C30789

In future, please make sure to include the 'full' Tree version.

    Thanks
