Change site IP, www works without www does not

    Default Change site IP, www works without www does not

    I moved a site today and the www.domainname.com resolves properly yet the domainname.com shows the Cpanel = There is no website configured

    What can I check, the httpd.conf looks fine?

    dns just needs time to propagate
    Just keeping my "eye" on things....

    Yes that is what I was thinking but the www.domainname.com went really fast.

    totally depends on what it stale and what's fresh at your local isp you are on.

    try a extarnal resolver when these thinsg happen you verify.

    http://tracert.com have one. Tr with www and without and see what IP they return.

    Thanks, It is my local ISP not resoling the non www.domainname.com to the new address, the www.domainname.com works fine.

    Looks like the link you gave me see's them both so thanks.
