    Default Changing Name Server

OK, so in a nut shell the company that had my domain that was my nameserver shut it off today and told me I had to pay $200 to renew it. I'm not spending $200 for that. So here is what I need help with.

I have a dedicated server, I went out and bought a new domain today to use as a new name server. My new domain is thomasmontalto1.com.

On GoDaddy.com, I went to Host Summary and entered the IP's for NS1 and NS2 as I should.

I also set the name servers to ns1.thomasmontalto1.com and ns2.thomasmontalto1.com.

Is this all that has to be done to get it to work? I'm so confused as my server is not coming up yet, and I just want to be sure I set everything correctly.

    Thanks

Whats it say at godaddy under the NameServers section, up above the Host Summary? Is that empty or filled with your nameservers details?
According to this, you're not done yet.
