changing server IP

i have a dedicated server and want to change the main server IP

i already have an available ip to use but was wondering if i can make the change myself or would i need my support people onsite to do this.

any help would be great

I believe you will need Cpanel support to accomplish this since your license is relying on the current main IP. If you change it yourself Cpanel should stop working.
