Check failed with status: 0 and error code 0

Tryin to update mysql and the RPMs will download but always throws up this error Check failed with status: 0 and error code 0 eventually I run out of mirrors. I delete the mirrors and start over and get the same, been going on for about three weeks now. Should I just put the rpm files down manually and install them ?

I'm having the same problem on multiple servers. Resolvers are working OK, I've cleared the MySQL RPM cache like the OP but to no avail.

For us, the problem was a broken RPM library which forced us to reinstall RPM on the machine. After that, the MySQL update worked flawlessly.
