checking exim under another user

Curious if I was to check exim queue under another user how would I add it to the group? If exim runs under mailnull and I want to add a specific user to the system that can check the exim queue other then root...for example

as root exim -bpc will return the mail queue but as a normal user you would get a permission denied message so im assuming you would need to add that user to the exim group so it can access it it like /usr/sbin/usermod -G someuser mailnull ?

just to add as well I can add

queue_list_requires_admin = false

From reading here http://www.exim.org/exim-html-4.10/doc/html/spec_5.html the admin user can list the queue and some certain commands but from a security perspective still wouldnt want all users to check the queue really, would still like to keep it restricted to root and one other user if possible

Use sudo/visudo to permit user to run specific exim command as root without a password.
