    Default checking Server Status?

I am having trouble with my PHP loading sometimes. My host can’t find a problem and told me to keep an eye on: “Or checking your server status in WHM to see if there is a high-load or something that might be hindering your serves ability to perform DNS lookups at that time.”

How do I check my server status? And/or DNS Lookups? What am I looking for to know if something is wrong?

    Thanks
    Kimber

    Default

In WHM there is a link for "service status"

But this is not the best way to do things. The best solution is monitoring things in ssh such as error logs. This should give good information to the problem.

    /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log
    /usr/local/apache/domlogs
    /var/log/messages

Ask your manager to install logview.org and you can easily access these things in WHM instead of risking damage with ssh.
