chkservd driving me nuts!

I have 3 Cpanel servers, one RH 7.3/8.0/9.0

The 8.0 one is driving me nuts, I keep getting eximstats failed errors, and chkservd keeps restarting it. Since I can't find any docs on that aprticular application, I have no idea how to troubleshoot it.

While I was comparing servers, I noticed the three servers have different Service Status pages. the RH9 box actually shows status of disk partitions... Also noticed that the two boxes not bithcing about eximstats don't have eximstats listed in the Service Status page. The one that is a problem (RH8) does have eximstats listed.

Is ther some kind of magic config file somewhere to tell chkservd what services to check? I couldn't find anything.

Anyone else have similar problems? I don't think there's really anything wrong with exinstats, just the fact that chkservd is monitoring it.

i have the same problem with eximsats not running..

i tried changing the pass in WHM > MySql> EXIMSTATS

and then went to > /var/cpanel/eximstatspass

and changed it there and restarted mysql..

but it did not work

maybe the data base in corrupted...

if you find the answwer, let me know...

after changing pass, it worked

well it fixed it!!

at least on a RH 9,0 box..

ran ./fixeverything
