chown Disk quota exceeded

Hello All,

I have transfer some account from one server to another using WHM.
4 account ownership showing as root. when i am trying tochange ownership it's showing error.
Disk quota exceeded what should i do how to solve?

Have you tried /scripts/chownpublichtmls ? What is showing an error where?

It seems to be a problem here with the moving account function in WHM. I encountered this problem with my account too. I suffering the same problem with the threadstarter...

i had the same problem before.. tech support from my data center said that i have reached UID/GID i can create, so they raised the number of UID/GID for my server and then i didn't get the error.

try contact your data center tech support and ask them to rise the UID/GID limit of your server.
