ClamAV Connector

I already install ClamAV in my server, but I want to know how if can clamavconnector in Cpanel addon can create conflicts with the already installed ClamAV?! And if is a big deal install it.

AFAIK, the clamavconnector uses its own copy of ClamAV, so it shouldn't conflict with it.

Up to you, if you're not using it, it might be a good idea to, but you'll have to go looking for the files as I don't believe there is an uninstall script.

Dou you use ClamAV Conector and Clam + Mailscanner at the some time? I think Clam + Mailscanner is best cose it check all incoming email, and with ClamAV Conector you must lo login to cpanel to check spam or virus.

No, I only use ClamAV. The ClamAV connector only work with webmail?!

After installing clamavconnector today I tested to see if email based viri were caught and they were. previousely the servers did not have virus filtering so clamavconnector must be the reason that viri were not reaching their recipients!
