Here is the deal, I need PHP with libmcrypt and gd2. I installed both software packages. Now I need to configure php with libmcrypt and gd2. I have zend installed, so the php.ini is not in the usual spot. When I do the apache build with build php and the options I need from whm, after apache restart, my php is unchanged. So do I need to manually reconfigure php because I have zend installed?

Another question is: how do I get apache 2.x to install under whm?
