Configure FTP Client Feature overwrote all my settings

Ugh. Using FileZilla 2.2.29 here. Thought I would try the cPanel "Configure FTP Client" feature, so if customers asked me about it, I'd know a little about it.

I created a test FTP account, then used the "Configure FTP Client" link for FileZilla. Followed the directions to import the registry file. Didn't see the new server in my list of servers (which is HUGE), so I closed FileZilla. When I opened, I was more than dismayed to see that ALL of my saved servers are GONE. All custom settings are gone... it doesn't know what my default text editor is... etc. All gone.

Is there a way to disable this feature?

I found a file on my machine called FileZilla.xml and was able to import it, and it contained all my old sites.

Yay!

Close call. Adding this FileZilla.xml to my backup routine !!
