Connect ODBC via SSL? Possible with cPanel?

Is it possible to connect via ODBC using SSL? We have the process for remote ODBC connections, but upon being asked if we can set up such a connection so the hosted member can use SSL in ODBC, we are stumped for an answer.

In WHM ---> Manage Service SSL Certificates, I see that there are service certificates to manage there, but none for MySQL remote connects.

It may require ODBC for the connection to establish. Have you enabled ODBC support on your cPanel server? If not, install UnixODBC devel packages using yum and install/enable ODBC support on your cPanel server.

Thanks for the response, but ODBC connectivity is no problem. The issue is ODBC connectivity via SSL. The URL you included in your response does not address this.

Specifically this customer is using the MySQL Connector/ODBC tool described here:
