copying an account from another server: Bad file descriptor

Hello,
I'm trying to copy an account from another server and I get this error:

Connecting to Remote Server Failed: Unable to connect to 123.111.222.333:1111: Bad file descriptor

I used to move accounts very easily. I haven't done it since I upgraded my WHM to 11.2.0

As soon as I type the remote server IP and port, I get the error message.

I'm able to ssh to the remote server using that IP and port.

What can be wrong?

i think you just need upgrade cpanel again. may be with --force option. Bad file descriptor can be signal about corrupt cpanel perl files...

Updated the Cpanel/WHM to WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.11.0-R16983 and still get the same error, any other suggestions?

may be checking /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log give you some idea. Error which you got mostly likely regard to corrupt files or may be some perl modules just was not installed.

There's nothing in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log about this error

I've upgraded cpanel in both servers and it's still not working

do you have ConfigServer Security & Firewall or apf ?

stop the firewall on the server you are copying TO and try again. If it works make sure that the server you are copying to has the ssh port open for the server it is copying from.

eg, my problem was copying from server port was 8888

firewall on server i was copying to only had port 22 open.

I have this problem but it is not all the time. I copied one account and when I get back to copy further, then this "Bad file descriptor" showing.

I stoped firewall on both servers. New server SSH port is 22 and "old" one have SSH port 2222. But like i wrote, it worked ,and now after few hours it is not working.

Same thing here. Firewalls on both ends were turned down and yet nothing is showing in the logs. (Running S19434 - ssh on a non standard port).

I solved this. Problem was port . I changed back to 22 and all went fine.
