Couldn't bind ns2.mydomain.com with ip address

Hello,

I have tried to bind ns2.mydomain.com to an available ip number but it failed. I have received no errors.

Here's what I did,

Main >> Server Setup >> Edit Setup

ns2.mydomain.com => Add Ip address gives me Ip address already added to ipthatiwant. So its ok. I then click add A records. It adds the records.

I then click on Main >> Server Setup >> Manage Nameserver IPs

It only shows ns1.mydomain.com

No sign of ns2.mydomain.com

I have tried everything(including restarting bind)

Any thoughts on this. Any help is greatly appreciated

You could try adding it manually to /etc/nameserverips and restarting Bind.
